Looking For Love #1 and #2 - Tweaked

So, taking some feedback from you - I definitely read all the comments that come in, I've taken a bit of my spare non-online time to try tweaking these pics to improve legibility.  Please let me know if these versions address the concerns that were expressed or if you'd prefer to see me go another way.

Note: due to limited technical abilities and programs onhand, all editing was done in powerpoint (although I did use a few fonts from blambot).

I know the editing work isn't exactly the work of a professional, but does it address the concerns expressed earlier or should I try working them a little differently?  Again, please let me know.

  3. Some of the text seems strangely pixelated, which makes it look kind of out of place. Other than that it's good.

  4. Sorry to double-post, but if you want a decent tool for editing images, you could grab Paint.NET, which is freeware, or GIMP, which is a bit more complicated but which has a portable version available. It might help with the pixelated text.

  5. Definitely clearer, but it loses some of its charm from the original. I could read the original just fine, but if this is here, it must have been a concern from other people.

  6. This is much better, even with limited ability or programs. The original caption writing was too messy to read easily and detracted from the art.

  7. what I have to say is pretty much Anon of May 1, 7:37 PM said... The people that had trouble reading it, did they click the picture for the slightly larger version to try reading it or were they just trying to read it as posted?

  8. Well, for the future, I'll post them as is for the purists with "tweaked" versions on the same post or possibly soon after. Appreciate the feedback.

I have downloaded gimp but haven't had any time to mess with it yet.

  9. Props for having figured out when to use the serif "I" and when to use the sans-serif "I." Every single person who uses Comic Sans to make signs should take a lesson from you. No, actually, first they should be punched in the face repeatedly until they agree to switch to a different font.
