I am interested in any advertising images of Mistress Arianna and La De Baucherie Magique. I have good reason to believe she's been advertising since at least the mid to late 19th century - although it was probably via mail-order catalog at that time and part of the intervening period. Since then she's probably tried mass mailings and magazine ads - maybe even a couple billboards and other flyers before the web came along. Not just furs either, we know she's sold all sorts of fashions, footwear, clubwear, lingerie and other odds and ends. Most of them probably depict a customer - not necessarily before and after, but I'm guessing the majority of them fall under that style.
I am very interested in any renditions folks can provide - not looking for any low-res scans or poor tracings here - someone's got to have a few high quality images somewhere - maybe in an old trunk in the attic or from that stack of magazines in the basement. I might even be willing to pay a small amount (tbd) for your trouble.
If you think you have something that fits the above descriptions, please drop me a line (thrandrall[at]gmail.com).
In other news....the posting schedule for "Morphball Acquired" will be adjusted - I think I'll need to fit a post a day this week. I'll be heading out of town pretty soon for an extended period. I plan on taking my laptop with me and should have semi-regular access - but I can't guarantee constant access to email, etc.
Well folks, several of my projects are proceeding well. Some technical hiccups here and there and minor delays on other issues, but nothing major to speak of.
One interesting note - FurCo sent me an advertisement he received in his spam box - he swears it's authentic. It looks somewhat incomplete or vague...possibly an unfinished sample - but it's posted for your viewing on the Gift Art page. If it's a precursor for an official campaign though...that could prove to be very interesting. I've asked him to forward to me anything similar that shows up in his inbox so I can post them for you folks. And if any of the rest of you see similar advertisements for La De Baucherie Magique, please drop me a line so I can feature them. It looks like Mistress Arianna is finally embracing the digital age.
On an unrelated note, I'm very curious to hear which you folks would prefer given the state of things: Would you prefer a periodic art contest, or a continuing series of "normal" commissions - at the moment, I'm unable to support both simultaneously (aside from smaller side projects)? Please vote in the poll. Any poll comments should be placed in this entry.
Finally, I'm very happy to finally present my 2nd Zanfadar project - with coloring assistance by Engineskye (see below). The rest of the sequence should be posted later this week.
I'm deeply sorry to Zanfadar for waiting so long to post his awesome work (I've been sitting on it for quite a while), but I just didn't feel that it deserved to be posted in just black and white. I finally had the chance to employ Engineskye's talents for coloring and it's finally ready for posting.
I hope you appreciate it as much as I do.
Featuring yet another beautiful take on Mistress Arianna as well ;p Part 2 to follow later this week.
Wow! There were some absolutely amazing entries here! Thanks so much to all the great artists who submitted pieces for this contest. It was great to see such a variety of styles and portrayals of my character.
This little entry came as a very pleasant surprise. It's been quite some time since we had any animation on the site. From Slimy Thief's sidneymt, I present the following submission. (posted after break to avoid any linkage/loading hassles).
The competition is definitely getting stiffer now (and not just in my pants).
Talented and extremely prolific artist immortaltom has thrown his hat into the ring as well.
You know...in a custom boutique like La De Baucherie Magique, you'd imagine the changing rooms would be a little more versatile. Then again, she wasn't quite that size until she tried on the merchandise ;p
I wouldn't normally be starting a posting series like this in the middle of another sequence, but I think "Looking For Love" will be on a temporary posting hiatus. Nothing to worry about though.
In it's place however, is a project near and dear to my heart for a long time. Another commission that has been listed for a long time under "Pending" has finally reached fruition. And what a piece of work it is!!!
Jacques00 has put an amazing about of work into this sequence for me and I am extremely proud to present "Morphball Acquired!"
Some folks from the Process forums may recognize pieces here from Jacques00's recent streamings, but please no spoilers. I'll admit it's also a bit of a diversion from my usual in that it uses an actual character...but this concept just fit so perfectly ;p
Now, the posting schedule for this sequence will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as per my usual routine....with one caveat. Jacques00 and I are extremely partial to feedback. Given the amount of work put into this project, following tomorrow morning's post, I will only post the next page if/when I receive at least 5 comments from unique (ie. no "Anonymous") users. ;p
The next art contest entry comes from GiantPanda - who sends in a great pic of Mistress Arianna (in a slightly different form - variety is always nice) welcoming another patron to the boutique. Anyone want to take bets on how this girl will wind up changed?
Remember folks, get those entries in soon - deadline is midnight Mar 15 (or before I check my email on Wednesday morning ;p).
The story so far: Poor Nadia is sick and tired of being ignored by all the guys around her - on campus, at the club, everywhere - so she's taking a chance with Mistress Arianna's "VR" matchmaking device to try and see what kind of girl the guys in her classes are into. Apparently, the jock in her Comparative Lit class is really hot for bimbos....
This weeks second contest entry comes from regular contributor Engineskye. The theme here is considerably more futuristic than the other versions of Mistress Arianna so far - even my comic version. In a more dystopian Blade-Runner-ish setting, we have a guy getting a bit of the old feminization treatment into a model courtesan (batteries not included).
Two art contest entries were submitted while I was out of town. The first came from wizdomtooth - a great artist I've been interested in commissioning from for quite a while, but the stars never quite aligned.
Being a specialty boutique, "La De Baucherie Magique" caters to all sorts of customers with a variety of products - as Mistress Arianna is proud to demonstrate in this entry:
