Caption Entry - FurCo

A great little caption by FurCo!  Slightly on the darker side of things...as these things go ;p

The First Caption Challenge - Results!

Well, I've got to say, this first caption contest has produced some really interesting entries.

It's been a difficult choice for some of the categories....but these ones just wowed me.

- Best single caption - Any single caption using a one-character pic. ($25)

Really like the use of this pic and the ending concept.  TG-Spain

- Best group caption - Any single caption using a pic with one or more characters. ($25)

Catfish

- Best caption sequence - Any set of two or more captions following a sequence/storyline (can use single or multiple character pics - no restrictions on which pictures from reference selection are used) ($50)

Without a doubt....Had to be the Brooke sequence by Furco.

- Best original design and caption - A little different - this category is looking for the really weird/unique/far-out concepts - I will accept minor photo-editing as well as potentially use of pics not included in my reference file - but must be approved on a case-by-case basis.  Must still conform to all other contest rules. ($35)

Love the design and formatting here - beautiful design by Mindy Z:

And finally:

- Best overall caption(s) - The one that really blows me away (single or sequence). ($50)

It's a big 'un, but the story really works well with the pic.  By Catfish.

Caption Challenge Entry - Furco

Wow!  Just received a veritable slew of caption contest entries by fur-caption fan furco.

These ones cover pretty much all the categories.  So we'll start with the individual caps.

Sequences can be seen after the break - we've got a real doozy of a story here folks:

Art Contest Entry - Furco

I suppose even within failure lies the seeds for future success...and profit.  Furco's contest entry examines one aspect of the concept.

TransRepo
Project FG-1 Analysis
NOT FOR PUBLIC RELEASE

Project FG-1's goals of creating self-healing, regenerating clothing using fur and leather-based materials have encountered an unforeseen setback. While the prototypical materials are, in fact, successfully functioning, a complication has arisen. When exposed to living tissue, undesired and uncontrolled growth and expansion is occurring, consuming tissue to provide more mass and energy.

Our first and second test models both exhibited this unexpected side effect, and unfortunately, we have not determined any way to reverse the damage. We are keeping them in storage pending further review.

FurCo - The TransRepo 2013 Collection - Unexpected Results

Well, I guess some companies will do anything for a buck.  Seems TransRepo Industries is finding out that not every "technique" out there can be replicated by science.  At least not perfectly...

FurCo - The TransRepo 2013 Collection

As with any new style in fashion, after every innovator comes an imitator.  Never content to sit on the sidelines when there's money to be made, TransRepo Industries is diving headfirst in to the Furrification market with their new 2013 collection.  Thanks to FurCo for digging these up.

It appears that these are being marketed more towards the budget-minded fashionista.  We'll have to see how this "science vs magic" conceit plays itself out.

FurCo - The 2013 Collection

Wow...not sure how FurCo gets on the mailing list for these things.  I've got no luck at all....

Seems that La De Baucherie Magique is continuing it's fashion-setting trend of furrification with a new set of designs.  Guess it's all for the best given the ongoing weather in some parts of the country.

Quick Update

Just a short note...we're still truckin' - got a great new update planned on Monday - a 13 part comic by Blackshirtboy!  I'll be utilizing a posting scheme similar to Showdown at Grave's Dam and Morphball Acquired - M, W, F posting till it's complete, but will need a certain amount of audience participation each post...gotta get some feedback here.  Hopefully at least 5 comments a day!

In the meantime, just to tide you over past the weekend - a beautiful piece of Gift Art from FurCo.

The Harajuku region of Tokyo is well-known for it's fashionistas and trendsetters...perhaps not surprisingly, they've been among the first in Japan to undergo furrification...let's hope they're not the last!

2nd Anniversary Par-Tay!

Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate it!

Hard to believe this site has been around for 2 years already.  Time flies when you're having fun....or just really busy.

Well, this post is to celebrate 2 years of posts and commissions (been commissioning longer than that but this is the first consistent collection point).  Also to celebrate the work of some of the amazing artists I've been most fortunate to work with over this time.

First up, we've got a beautiful little piece by the amazing Cluedog - "Still Changin'":

I've mentioned it before, but I think this occasion warrants it again - truly a talented artist with a phenomenal grasp of expressions.  I highly recommend checking out his comic "Opey the Warhead" - available here - as well as his new comic Miss Doomsday.  He's been pretty busy lately - and the recent collaboration with femur at TG Comics - The Supermodel Transformation Kit - is well worth it.

FurCo - Targeted Advertising (La De Baucherie Magique)

Well, seems FurCo was right on the money.  Seems Mistress Arianna is trying some new advertising formats - casting her net wide in a search for new customers.  A variety of similar themed ads targeted towards specific demographics.  Most intriguing!

Weekend Update

Well folks, several of my projects are proceeding well.  Some technical hiccups here and there and minor delays on other issues, but nothing major to speak of.

One interesting note - FurCo sent me an advertisement he received in his spam box - he swears it's authentic.  It looks somewhat incomplete or vague...possibly an unfinished sample - but it's posted for your viewing on the Gift Art page.  If it's a precursor for an official campaign though...that could prove to be very interesting.  I've asked him to forward to me anything similar that shows up in his inbox so I can post them for you folks.  And if any of the rest of you see similar advertisements for La De Baucherie Magique, please drop me a line so I can feature them.  It looks like Mistress Arianna is finally embracing the digital age.

On an unrelated note, I'm very curious to hear which you folks would prefer given the state of things:  Would you prefer a periodic art contest, or a continuing series of "normal" commissions - at the moment, I'm unable to support both simultaneously (aside from smaller side projects)?  Please vote in the poll.  Any poll comments should be placed in this entry.

Finally, I'm very happy to finally present my 2nd Zanfadar project - with coloring assistance by Engineskye (see below).  The rest of the sequence should be posted later this week.

FurCo - The Perfect Outfit

Sometimes it just takes a while to pick out the perfect outfit.  Then when you think you've got it right...turns out *you* are the outfit.  Great little photomorph sequence by FurCo

A little different from some of my other projects, but turned out just how I was hoping.

Art Contest Entry - FurCo

I'm proud to present the first entry in my Poodle-Girl art contest - and it's a photomorph no less (really gotta get around to commissioning more of these).

From FurCo, I present the following - with included caption:

The Doll Maker
Photomanipulation
One mafiosa bella donna "takes care of" her rival.
"The Rival"
