The People Have Spoken - 7

Results are in for Contest #7.  Thanks again for all the beautiful entries.  There will be at least one more art contest this year - and a few more contests of other shapes and sizes!  Stay tuned.

Congratulations to zdemian for the winning "Pronouns":

Art Contest Entry - zdemian - Pronouns

Last entry for tonight folks.  Just a heads up - my deadline tomorrow is still the same, but the results post probably won't be till later in the evening due to unavoidable schedule stuff...(sorry).

zdemian has dug into the TransRepo Industries company archives to find out the real reason why all employees receiving pink slips are tasered and abandoned on the side of a country road - without even having the chance to clean out their desks.

Take my word for it - it's better for all parties involved.

Art Contest Entry - Blackshirtboy - Implants

The first official entry for Art Contest #7 has been received - and it's a beauty by blackshirtboy.

On a side note, the Art Contest Archive has been updated with the entries from #6.

Those crazy techs at TransRepo Industries just can't seem to get the bugs ironed out on this project.  Ah well, it's all about trial and error.  (sometimes mostly error).

Navetsea - Greasemonkeyin' Around

You know, every time I get my oil changed, they tell me synthetics are better for the life of the engine.  'Course that's great for my mileage, but I figure working around all those chemicals day in and day out has got to affect a guy in one way or another.

Navetsea helped me visualize what might happen to a fellow working a little too hard.  I'd say the end result turned out pretty well.  Besides, I think she's probably earned a night out on the town.

Fashion Pageant Contestant - Jacques00

After graduating college, Kalina Korovin works as a butterfly gardener at a local garden and practices amateur biology and alternate agriculture at her own home garden.  Her studies have given her a deep interest in nature and the science involved in understanding it.  Due to her work, she dresses quite modestly and joining a fashion pageant seems to be the least likely activity on her to-do list, though receiving an invitation to Arianna's Le De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant has definitely piqued her interest.

Fashion Pageant Contestant - AutumnNatural

James was born into a blue collar family in 1985, and grew up the son of a auto plant worker in the suburbs of Detroit.  Throughout his childhood he experienced many hardships, mainly economic instability, which influenced his decision to break from his fathers foot steps and pursue his life's interests; marine biology.  It was vacationing on the shores of Lake Huron and Lake Michigan as a young boy which first inspired a passion for preserving and protecting those beautiful bodies of water.

He was apprehensive to attend college and pursue his dream, but his uncertainty was quickly washed away when he found he excelled in his classes and quickly became one of the youngest researchers hired by the Department of Natural Resources.  Today James works a lot, struggling to find time for his personal life.  He hopes to one day inspire not just the state of Michigan, but the whole world, to protect these wonders of the natural world.

Fashion Pageant Contestant - DrGonz

After years of band-hopping as a guitarist, playing in small town bars and parties, Leslie Baker has anything but success to show for his efforts.

But after a strange and unexplained change takes place, an opportunity presents itself that seems oddly coincidental.

Fashion Pageant Contestant - blackshirtboy

Max had the day off from school, and the house to himself when the strange letter came. Addressed to him, he found it was an invitation, but he hardly had time to register the words before the paper, and the world around him seemed to loose focus, like reality itself was becoming less real, and then he started to change. Within the span of a few panicked breaths he watched as his body matured into some bizarre caricature of a woman, something cartoonish and alien, though his new curves seemed... soft... and his new skin pleasantly warm.

DMA - A Plethora of Poodle-Girls

Ok....as in my previous two introductory notes...these pics may be disturbing to some folks - basically a revamp of already posted artwork at higher resolutions, etc.  You've been warned.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, DMA's work is so amazing, I could not let it go with just the last two posts.  Particularly since all of our "original" designs were completed as individual pictures before arranging in a larger composition (for the first post at least).  Additionally, below you will also find higher resolution versions of all the other images in the last two posts.  I hope you find this project as interesting as we did - please leave feedback!  (I will grant that it was also a little more self-indulgent than some of my projects).

Thanks

DMA - Board Meeting Minutiae - Part 2

Once again...a warning to the unwary....this is a more...."disturbing" sequence than most of the pieces posted here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

{Resume Playback}

"Now I know what you're all thinking - why cater to the crazies out there?   The simple fact of the matter is, we have total control the narrative at this point.  At this time, we are holding Ms. Belloc in a very secure location.  She was located and apprehended by security immediately following her breaking and entering escapade at our central Utah facility.  Although she had obviously already transmitted the previous images, she was also unable - in the limited amount of time she had - to add her own twisted commentary to any of them.  In fact, as a direct result of her own illegal actions she was hit and injured by a car while fleeing the scene of the crime."

"Naturally our security team rendered first aid, but it quickly became apparent to them that the scope of her injuries was too much for them to effectively treat locally.  As she was injured on our property, and as is the case with all Class A2 casualty situations - reference Case #A2BXX061313-1 -  I was notified directly and made the call to transfer her to the Paris facility (following stabilization naturally)."

Navetsea - She Flies Through the Water

I promised new art didn't I?

Once more, Navetsea can sure deliver them beautifully.  This is a little TF concept I've been wanting to try for a while.  I need to work on a few more of these.

At least she's not retaining water.

Oppaiman - Bimbo Club 2 - "Still Clubbin'"

To celebrate the release of Bimbo Club 3, Oppaiman's full Bimbo Club 2 is now available for viewing.  We're continuing this project as a variation of a theme ;p  Of course, after BC3, I'm starting to run out of transformation combinations - but I'm sure if I made some sort of matrix, I could figure out some more options.

As always your much appreciated support with the donation projects significantly assist in providing more quality artwork for the site in general.

Donation Art Update - Bimbo Club 3

I'm sorry it took very nearly a year to put out a new Donation Art piece - multiple others still ongoing - important to get them as solid as possible.

That said, I'm really happy that I'm able to share Oppaiman's amazing work with you just in time for Halloween.  What better way to get down at the Bimbo Club than with a Costume Party?

This beautiful, full color, 21 page project is available to view for any donation of at least $5 - as always 30% of your donation goes directly to the artist.

As a special bonus, take $1 off the donation cost for any other donation project you decide to request at the same time as Bimbo Club 3 - each artist will still get 30% of the original full price!

Powerman2000 - Free Shots

This is just a quickie project I whipped up to work on with powerman2000.  Always happy to help an artist out with a commission if I've got the funds available and they need a hand.

Short and sweet, I think it worked out really well.  Things never turn out well if you insult the bartender.

Concept by me, art and script by powerman2000.

Art Contest 6 - Luck Be A Lady Tonight - Results!

Well, unfortunately the last artist I was in contact with was unable to meet the adjusted deadline - but I certainly hope to feature more work from him in the future.

That leaves the 6 original entries to be judged.  Out of my 6 art contests so far, I've never received a more solid group of entries...which makes the selection of a winner for this contest far and away the most difficult choice so far.  I want to say up front that all of these entries were gorgeous pieces of work and I'm extremely grateful for the work put into them.  I sincerely thank you for your hard work and look forward to commissioning more pieces from each of you in the future.

With that in mind, moving to the selection - the winners are below the break:

Art Contest Entry - zdemian

This little entry really took me off guard.

zdemian presents a game of black jack where the stakes are - to say the least - very high!

Art Contest Entry - blackshirtboy

The rest of the art contest entries are starting to come in - looks like we'll have a pretty good showing this time around.

Here we have a very tight little sequence by blackshirtboy - very nice thematic designs and framing!

Looks like someone finally got lucky at the Texas Hold 'em table.

Artist: blackshirtboy
Medium: Digital
Scenario: "A man on a losing streak finds his luck."

Swan Song - The Full Story

Well, I had assumed my story was fairly straightforward, but that's what I get from assuming.  It can be really easy to take things for granted as the author when you've been so focused on getting a look down and the story seems natural in your mind.  But putting together a visual representation without any verbalization or captions is something that requires a bit more thought - and I apologize for leaving things so ambiguous.

So without further ado - I present "Swan Song" in it's entirety with featured director's commentary.

1.

A young man arrives at his grandmother's house to help her move to a nursing home.  While packing boxes in the attic he comes across a photo of another woman - definitely not his grandmother as a young woman...someone very different.
