Thanksgiving Note - Update 12/1

UPDATE:  Just a note of thanks to everyone who contributed to the donation project this past month.  Thanks to you I've been able to make another donation to MAP International for just over $120 for Philippines Typhoon Relief.

Appreciate the support.

 --------------------------------

Happy Thanksgiving folks!  At least for Stateside visitors.  For everyone else - have a good one! (gotta go back to work tomorrow myself - thankfully not retail on Black Friday).

Basically, I figure everyone's got something to be thankful for this year.  I've got a lot of things personally - no point in going into detail here though.

But if you're feeling thankful for this site, the art and the artists who produce it ("thankful" may not be the best word for this kind of page ;p - but you get my drift) - why not donate a little to support those artists - and more importantly to support typhoon relief in the Philippines?  I'll be making the donation on Sunday the first - includes my full share of donations from the donation project for this month.

Thanks again!

CallMePo - Mistress and Maidservant circa 2013

I think I might turn this into a series....to explore different looks and times, but approximately the same pose.

Here we have Mistress Arianna and Candy - sitting for a portrait of sorts.  Roughly contemporary - 2013 or so - by CallMePo.

DMA - A Plethora of Poodle-Girls

Ok....as in my previous two introductory notes...these pics may be disturbing to some folks - basically a revamp of already posted artwork at higher resolutions, etc.  You've been warned.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, DMA's work is so amazing, I could not let it go with just the last two posts.  Particularly since all of our "original" designs were completed as individual pictures before arranging in a larger composition (for the first post at least).  Additionally, below you will also find higher resolution versions of all the other images in the last two posts.  I hope you find this project as interesting as we did - please leave feedback!  (I will grant that it was also a little more self-indulgent than some of my projects).

Thanks

DMA - Board Meeting Minutiae - Part 2

Once again...a warning to the unwary....this is a more...."disturbing" sequence than most of the pieces posted here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

{Resume Playback}

"Now I know what you're all thinking - why cater to the crazies out there?   The simple fact of the matter is, we have total control the narrative at this point.  At this time, we are holding Ms. Belloc in a very secure location.  She was located and apprehended by security immediately following her breaking and entering escapade at our central Utah facility.  Although she had obviously already transmitted the previous images, she was also unable - in the limited amount of time she had - to add her own twisted commentary to any of them.  In fact, as a direct result of her own illegal actions she was hit and injured by a car while fleeing the scene of the crime."

"Naturally our security team rendered first aid, but it quickly became apparent to them that the scope of her injuries was too much for them to effectively treat locally.  As she was injured on our property, and as is the case with all Class A2 casualty situations - reference Case #A2BXX061313-1 -  I was notified directly and made the call to transfer her to the Paris facility (following stabilization naturally)."

DMA - Board Meeting Minutiae - Part 1

Up front, I should note that the next couple of posts do diverge a little from my standard commission.  Every now and then, I feel the need to experiment with somewhat....stranger....concepts - potentially more disturbing or just darker in approach and material.  I guess it's a way of venting in some ways, but the result is definitely a little different from the normal pieces to say the least.  I really enjoyed working with DMA on these, and the pictures came out beautifully (his artwork is stunning) - and very close to what I imagined they would - so take that for what it's worth.

While there is no "process" in this first post, there is most definitely a sort of "process" in the next post - quite different from my previous projects.

There will be a post following this series showing all of the following images in much more detail as well (higher res, etc).  Probably by the middle of next week.

On with the show.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

{The following is a digitized transcription for official record keeping purposes of TransRepo Industries Board Meeting #131030A2 convened by CEO and Chairwoman of the Board Dr. Valarie Francesco.  All board members were confirmed physically present by routine biometrics and DNA sampling with the exception of Dr. Joseph D'armigna, Director of Cybernetics and Dr. Lorraine Yu, Director of Organic Biotics and Cosmetics - a quorum plus one.}

"To begin with, I would like to briefly congratulate Dr. Harrison on the his division's completion of the 2014-series poodle-girl genetic design coding project.  I expect this near-perfect design should start us off very well next spring."

"Step forward young lady and let the members of the board take a good look at you."

{applause}

"Thank you for the presentation, you can have a seat in the next room.  We'll speak with you later."

{aside}"She's not the brightest bulb of the current lot, but with her modeling background, she certainly carries the pose much better than most of them."{/aside}

"However, this success also brings up a much more serious matter related to this product line.  Let me direct you to the following images which have begun appearing online."

Navetsea - She Flies Through the Water

I promised new art didn't I?

Once more, Navetsea can sure deliver them beautifully.  This is a little TF concept I've been wanting to try for a while.  I need to work on a few more of these.

At least she's not retaining water.

A Different Sort of Donation Project

It probably shouldn't have taken me so long to do this - but to be honest - this is only my second night at home since the 10th due to work issues - I generally have email access through my cellphone and often (but not always) computers at work - but not access to update the site.

Even in the line of work I'm in, I don't always have an opportunity to follow the news as much as I should - that said, I have seen quite a bit on Super Typhoon Haiyan - and it has hit me harder than a lot of disaster stories.  (take that as you will....I'm working on things).

This one was different than Katrina or Sandy - for me at least.  I spent five years growing up in the Philippines.  We had a lot of typhoons then...I still remember my freshman year in high school - sitting in my dorm room with the power out in the middle of the day and reading Frank Herbert's "Dune" for the first time by the light coming in the shuttered windows - as the whole building rattled.  But that was up in Metro Manila.  We never had anything like Haiyan hit up there when I was there.

Basically....I've already made one personal donation.  But I figure, with all the work I put into this site, I oughta use it for something else too - I sure can't do one of those "draw for donations"....but I can "donate for donations."

As I've explained here - for each "donation project" donation, the artist gets 30% and about 60% goes towards new projects after paypal charges.

For the month of November, for each donation made in the project I'll donate the full amount I receive towards typhoon relief.  It won't affect the percentage the artist receives at all - just my chunk.  Since I'm so late in the game, this is fully retroactive for the entire month - currently about $102 worth of donations - thanks to Oppaiman's new project.

On Sunday the 1st (still Thanksgiving weekend!), I'll donate the full amount to MAP International towards Typhoon Relief.  Yes, it's a Christian organization - one I've supported on several other occasions - with a very strong focus on medical relief.  Compared to say - the Red Cross (7.6%), only 2.6% of donations go towards administrative costs.

As always, when you donate, please list the name of the project you'd like to receive.

Thanks for the support.

Quick update - 2 weeks left!

Folks - just a quick reminder.  Two weeks left before the 20+ artist collaboration project begins posting on this site - and it will be amazing, I can tell you now.  Plenty of excellent opportunities for viewer participation and support as well.

For the record, I know this has been a drier year on the site due my deployment, but the next several months have a LOT of all-new original art lined up - plenty of my favorite types, but lots of new, very "unique" pieces too.

Stay tuned!

Oppaiman - Bimbo Club 2 - "Still Clubbin'"

To celebrate the release of Bimbo Club 3, Oppaiman's full Bimbo Club 2 is now available for viewing.  We're continuing this project as a variation of a theme ;p  Of course, after BC3, I'm starting to run out of transformation combinations - but I'm sure if I made some sort of matrix, I could figure out some more options.

As always your much appreciated support with the donation projects significantly assist in providing more quality artwork for the site in general.

1 Month Countdown!

Just about 30 days to go before I unveil the biggest project this site has ever seen.  Don't have much to tease you with this time around though...might just have to settle for these two images.

I don't really think either of those will spoil the surprise - but I always suppose someone could have a lucky guess - not that I'd give anything away.

Now on a separate note, just wanted to share another pic I commissioned from CoranKizerStone.  Just a simple bust shot of one of my favorite comic characters:

I've been a huge fan of this artist's amazing comic/cartoon character mash-up work.  His style is really unique and incorporates movement and just...."general coolness" so well.  Any character is instantly recognizable even though the style may differ from the traditional look.  To top it off, he's offering bust commissions like this one till 15 Nov.  I'm seriously considering a couple more of some of my other favorite characters.  Check him out!

Happy Halloween 2013!

Just a quick little note.  This is the first real holiday-related post in a few years.  I should have a few more this year though ;p

For the moment, a quick trip down memory lane to October 2010.

Some very nice art contest entries with a Halloween theme:

Furmistress' Witch TG/TF

and

Jacques00' Werecreature

Enjoy!
