A Brief Reprieve

Well, thanks to the readers who have directed me to the updated google policy - which for some odd reason was not emailed out to bloggers in the same format as the original warning.  That takes a little of the pressure off.

Either way, after talking with a friend in depth this week, I think I will begin planning a more long term solution - it might just take a little longer as I now have the flexibility (I presume) to get it "right."

We now return to our regularly scheduled filth.

Just got this cheery piece of news in my inbox today:

"Dear Blogger User,

We're writing to tell you about an upcoming change to the Blogger Content Policy that may affect your account.

In the coming weeks, we'll no longer allow blogs that contain sexually explicit or graphic nude images or video. Well.....sheeeeeit!  Guess I might not hit 5,000,000 views - much less 5 years with this blog after all.

Anyone got any suggestions for hosting/posting alternatives that might not prove too time/work intensive - at least in the short run?  My next month at work will be my *very* busy cycle.

immortaltom - Streaming Commission - Updated!

Thanks to the weather - I got the day off work.  It finally gave me a chance to get in on one of immortaltom's streaming commission sessions.  Great stuff as always - a little harder to get a sequential piece, but his one-shots are always amazing - just harder for me to satisfactorily visualize in advance.

For this piece, a local TransRepo Industries franchise was hiring for a position in their employee daycare facility.  Turns out that even though there was only one full-time position, there were several part-time jobs available.  At least the pay's part-time, even if the job takes a full-time commitment.  There's always opportunities for growth though - especially as the economy improves.

Anniversaries?

Well...looking at the calendar again - it appears that we're approaching a couple significant numbers: 

1.  The fifth anniversary of the site.

2.  5,000,000 views.

I really do appreciate the support I've received through the years from many folks out there - you know who you are!  All the more since my posting schedule and projects have been so erratic from time to time due to job/work requirements.

So...just in case the stars align...any suggestions on a good way to celebrate?  Maybe something I haven't done on the site before?  Keeping in mind that I've still got a number of other projects underway and not necessarily a lot of additional funds on hand.
