Mac: "Interludes 1" - an anthology comic exclusively from blackshirtboy.com."

Meg: "A very nice selection of topics and transformations - highly recommended."

The La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - The Fourth Category - 1

Mac: "Yet again, we're back with another round of the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant!"

Meg: "A very sexy round....potentially the *most* sexy round."

Mac: "Well...this is the Lingerie round after all."

Meg: "So that's why you're looking sooooooo uncovered.  Salome of the Seven Veils and all that."

Mac: "Well, one veil at least....what are you wearing under that overcoat?"

Meg: "Wouldn't you like to know?  Speaking of which - Hi Gany!  Did you have something to show us?"

Gany: "Wooooo!  Party time!  Get a load of this bod!"

Mac: "Well, looks like someone hit the post-show cocktails a little early."

Meg: "Cut her some slack, there's a real party going on backstage tonight!  Even Candy looks like she's having a pretty good time!"

Mac: "Past time for getting this show on the road - Srijaya's coming down the catwalk now.  Good thing we reset all the environmentals to 'comfortable summer afternoon'."

Fashion Pageant Contestant Swimwear Poll Results

Well folks, thanks for voting for the second round of fashion designs - the polls are closed - and the results can be found after the break.  It looks like the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant is well and truly underway - I'm pretty sure Mistress Arianna's got some big surprises planned for us in the near future.

The La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - The Third Category - 2

Mac: "Welcome back to the second half of tonight's competition."

Meg: "What's this?  You promised you'd zip yourself back up if I warmed up your suit."

Mac: "Five gallons of hot tomato soup down the back of the neck isn't the same thing."

Meg: "Seriously...you've got enough fat to keep you warm as well - you shouldn't need any help from me."

Mac: "And you've got that nice coat - why don't you lend me the hat?"

Meg: "I've got no hair, you've got piles of it keeping your brain nice and toasty."

Gany: "Come on girls, no need for another fight - there's still plenty of contestants to see - I'm sure seeing some of the outfits there will warm you right up."

Mac: "Fine Meg, we'll talk about this later.  For now, let's take a look at Leslie Baker."

The La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - Third Night Commercial Break

Tonight's presentation of the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant is brought to you by the following sponsors:

Mac: "ORCA brand women's wear.  Guaranteed to fit no matter the size - or shape."

Meg: "Their slogan should be 'No nip slips - we guarantee it'!"

Mac: "That sounds really professional."

Meg: "Well I'd vouch for them - never had a wardrobe malfunction while wearing ORCA."

And also by:

Mac: "The Girls Who Dance At the Chapel" - another transformative story exclusively from blackshirtboy.com."

Meg: "Sounds like a nice joint."

The La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - The Third Category - 1

Meg: "Welcome to the third night of the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - this is shaping up to be a really interesting competition so far.  What do you think Mac?"

Mac: "mmmm mmmmm mmmm"

Meg: "I couldn't have said it better myself.  What's the theme for tonight?"

Mac: "mmmm mmmmm mmmmm"

Meg: "You know, I sure hope you didn't just say what I think I heard you say."

Mac: "mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm"

Meg: "You know you don't get to speak until you make the proper safe signal.  It's not my fault if you can't tie a sheepshank knot with your tail."

Mac: *zip* "Seriously Meg?  You need a hobby.  Nothing to worry about here folks - frankly, I'm not sure she knows the definition of bondage."

Meg: "Bondage....bandage...whatever."

Mac: "Ok, so tonight we're taking things in the opposite direction from the last competition.  This time - we've propped the backstage doors open with a couple of Meg's barbells and issued some blankets to the audience - hopefully we can make up some of what we spent on heating and lighting last night."

Meg: "How are you feeling down there Gany?"

Gany: "The draft can be a little chilly, but I'm feeling strangely snug under this cape.  You did say it was fake right?"

Mac: "That's right, it's 100% faux fur."

Meg: "Don't tell her how many fauxs we had to kill to make it!"

Gany: "What was that?  I didn't quite catch that last part."

Mac:  "Never mind Gany....it looks like Candy is coming down the catwalk now - so clearly we're on a mixed theme tonight - fur outfits and/or tight, shiny outfits.  A mixed bag really, but they seem to be popular with a lot of people - not least with the weather being what it has been this year."

Meg: "They're popular with me - I'm snugger than a bug in a rug in this coat.  I bet Srijaya feels almost this good too....but looking at her now....I'm not sure she wants to feel so comfortable."

Art Contest #7 - "Scientific Progress Goes.....WTF?"

Alright….time for the seventh Art Contest.  We had some amazing entries last year....here's hoping we can repeat that this time around!

The new deadline is midnight 11 April 2014!   This is intended to coincide roughly with the 4th Anniversary Celebration of The Transformation Repository (there may be some slight adjustments to that end but that doesn't affect things at this time).

"Scientific Progress Goes......WTF!?!"

Basically....this is strictly a look at TransRepo Industries - and in particular their Genetics Division - although elements from other divisions or commercial/industrial elements of that corporation could be referenced or incorporated.

We've already established that they've been around for quite some time...always looking towards the future.  Some concepts have met with more success than others, while other projects are still in progress.  That said, following the attempt by Maria Belloc and EPATRI (Ethical People Against TransRepo Industries) to alert the world to their research methods...let's look at some of their failures.

The focus here is simply on genetic experimentation resulting in failure on the part of TransRepo Industries.  Technically speaking that leaves a pretty wide range of options - given their delving into projects involving a vast variety of consumer products.

Now for process here, this one will be very open to interpretation again.  The idea here only requires a minimum of 3 pictures – although more are always encouraged.  We need a before and after pic - with at least one process pic in between.

This could come from research photos, surveillance footage, even PSA (Public Service Announcement) poster formats or news stories.  Admittedly, most of these will probably be internal documents rather than public record files (unless some of the transformation failures took place outside of the workplace - delayed reactions, etc).  A favorite example (just a single pic, but works fine as a example of the final stage) is this one:

Obviously, these genetic failures could be demonstrated in many different transformation forms - whether fur/hair growth, expansions of all types, other animal/plant features, mental changes (with accompanying physical changes), mergers with different objects/materials, etc.

I fully encourage you to share this challenge with other friends and artists you may know who don’t regularly read this site.  Any artist I have previously commissioned from – even the same subject matter – is welcome to compete, but the submission must be a new piece.

On 12 April, I’ll announce three winners – First prize $200, second prize $150, third prize $100 – cash prize from me to you via paypal.  From our previous contests...if we have enough entries, there will also be a Viewers Choice Poll with a prize of $50 - that's $500 in total prizes!

Now the hard and fast rules (no real changes here):

1. All work must be the original work of the person submitting it.  No exceptions.

2. Sequences must be at least 3 pictures long.  There is no upper limit to the number of pictures and additional consideration will extended for additional effort.

3. Any medium is accepted – pencils, ink, paint, digital art, CGI renders, photomorphs, etc – or any combination of mediums.

4. All submissions should include the following information (which will also be posted with the picture): artist name, medium(s), scenario (if applicable), sequence title (optional) – and any other additional information you think is relevant.

5. Subjects must be adults – at least 18 – NO exceptions!

6. Any artist may submit as many sequences as they wish.

7. Unlimited revisions are allowed during the submission period.

8. No copyrighted characters are permitted (unless they're your own characters). This means no anime, videogame, movie, comic/manga characters, etc.

9.  By entering a submission, you are automatically giving permission for me to post it on the site clearly labeled and identified as an art contest entry – and although I would prefer to avoid it, if the artist wishes to remain anonymous, I am amenable to posting their entries in that fashion.

10.  Submissions should be addressed to me: thrandrall@gmail.com – subject line should contain the artist’s name and that it is intended as a submission for the Art Contest.

Additional Guidance:
a. Upper body nudity is permitted but should not be excessive. Lower body nudity will be frowned upon. Sexual activity is right out. (This is a great opportunity to try out some new poses or stances).

b. Constructive criticism by others is encouraged in the comments section, but *should* be accompanied by suggestions on how issues might be addressed, improved, etc.

c.  Backgrounds or scenarios are optional but also encouraged.  (accompanying write-ups, flavor text, etc).

Have at it!

The La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - The Second Category - 2

Mac: "So Meg, did you get a chance to cool off during the break?"

Meg: "If you can call it that....I certainly wouldn't call it a real pool - a hot tub at best - admittedly a little cooler than normal."

Gany: "Quit complaining - you enjoyed it when I hosed you down."

Meg: "I dunno, there's just something about being sprayed with water from someone else's nose that does it for me."

Mac: "I'm not even going to ask.  Let's get back to the contestants."

The La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - Second Night Commercial Break

Tonight's presentation of the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant is brought to you by the following sponsors:

Mac: "WZ brand rabbit ears. 'Guaranteed to improve your viewing experience.'"

Meg: "Do you know if they're HDTV compatible?  I'm not sure if I need an antenna."

Mac: "Well, yeah, it might be a case of targeted advertising."

And also by:

Meg: "Speaking of targeted advertising.  A shampoo specifically for centaurs."

Mac: "I can't really see it being a big seller but I'd imagine it'd require a bottle or two for every use - depending on the stylings."

The La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - The Second Category - 1

Meg: "Welcome back everyone to the second night of the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant."

Mac: "To clarify, we checked with Mistress Arianna, and it is in fact the first ever true fashion pageant built around her boutique.  That's not to say there haven't been any special presentations before, but nothing on this scale."

Meg: "So, making history, that's what I'm talking about.  And additionally, we are deeply, deeply sorry for the delay - technical problems on our end and all that.  Apparently a mouse was caught eating through some electrical wiring."

Mac: "Is that so?  I heard it was a hideous lizard-woman who bet the gaffers she could carry all their rigging gear with one arm tied behind her back."

Meg: "Mac, you know this is how urban rumors are started.  Would you like to hear the one about the fat, hairy frog-girl who cleaned out the caterers?"

Mac: "Ahem...not particularly.  And what's the theme for tonight?"

Mac: "That's what I thought.  Looking at Candy, I'm pretty sure we're running swimwear tonight."

Meg:  "Looks like she's just come from the pool as well."

Mac: "Well, to be fair, the studio is pretty well suited to it today.  Looks like we've made a few accommodations for the contestants.  You may have noticed it's a little warmer in here."

Meg:  "If you can't bring the pageant to the beach, bring the beach to the pageant - in January no less."

Mac: "That's right, heat lamps overhead, we've turned up the brightness a little - complimentary shades provided."

Meg: "I do believe they've got some sort of pool or tub set up in the rear as well.  Can you tell us any more about it Gany?"

Gany: "Evening ladies - it's true, there are a few amenities added backstage.  If you don't feel like submerging yourself in the pool, there are more than a few stagehands more than ready to...hose you down."

Meg:  "Sounds like a good time...may head back myself during the commercial break to cool off.  So I'm getting a signal...are we ready to begin?"
