After a beautiful display, we have our results from the fourth night of the competition - the Lingerie category.  A decidedly sexy category that displayed some gorgeous designs - but interestingly enough, we're still seeing some familiar faces in the winner's circle.  Stay tuned for more updates on the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - full numbers below the break.

Mac: "Well folks, it's been a heckuva ride, but it looks like things are winding up tonight."

Meg: "It is the last night, but we are going out with a bang."

Mac: "That's not necessarily the most appropriate term to describe a night displaying evening gowns - but this will be quite the party.

Mac: "Cheers to us!"

Meg: "That is non-alcoholic right?"

Mac: *sigh* "Yes....just juice."

Meg: "Good, because you know how we get with alcohol."

Gany: "I'm ready to party!...but I can wait till the wrap party."

Mac: "That's good to hear.  We don't need another display like last night."

Meg: "And just in time, here comes Candy - looks like we're in for a really beautiful display tonight.  This La DeBaucherie Magique Fashion Pageant is a real winner."

Mac: "Soooo, we're all set for the final catwalks tonight.  And we're starting with Srijaya."

Gany: "Wooooo!  Party time!  Get a load of this bod!"

Mac: "Well, looks like someone hit the post-show cocktails a little early."

Meg: "Cut her some slack, there's a real party going on backstage tonight!  Even Candy looks like she's having a pretty good time!"

Mac: "Past time for getting this show on the road - Srijaya's coming down the catwalk now.  Good thing we reset all the environmentals to 'comfortable summer afternoon'."

Meg: "Welcome to the third night of the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant - this is shaping up to be a really interesting competition so far.  What do you think Mac?"

Mac: "mmmm mmmmm mmmm"

Meg: "I couldn't have said it better myself.  What's the theme for tonight?"

Mac: "mmmm mmmmm mmmmm"

Meg: "You know, I sure hope you didn't just say what I think I heard you say."

Mac: "mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm"

Meg: "You know you don't get to speak until you make the proper safe signal.  It's not my fault if you can't tie a sheepshank knot with your tail."

Mac: *zip* "Seriously Meg?  You need a hobby.  Nothing to worry about here folks - frankly, I'm not sure she knows the definition of bondage."

Meg: "Bondage....bandage...whatever."

Mac: "Ok, so tonight we're taking things in the opposite direction from the last competition.  This time - we've propped the backstage doors open with a couple of Meg's barbells and issued some blankets to the audience - hopefully we can make up some of what we spent on heating and lighting last night."

Meg: "How are you feeling down there Gany?"

Gany: "The draft can be a little chilly, but I'm feeling strangely snug under this cape.  You did say it was fake right?"

Mac: "That's right, it's 100% faux fur."

Meg: "Don't tell her how many fauxs we had to kill to make it!"

Gany: "What was that?  I didn't quite catch that last part."

Mac:  "Never mind Gany....it looks like Candy is coming down the catwalk now - so clearly we're on a mixed theme tonight - fur outfits and/or tight, shiny outfits.  A mixed bag really, but they seem to be popular with a lot of people - not least with the weather being what it has been this year."

Meg: "They're popular with me - I'm snugger than a bug in a rug in this coat.  I bet Srijaya feels almost this good too....but looking at her now....I'm not sure she wants to feel so comfortable."

Meg: "Welcome back everyone to the second night of the La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant."

Mac: "To clarify, we checked with Mistress Arianna, and it is in fact the first ever true fashion pageant built around her boutique.  That's not to say there haven't been any special presentations before, but nothing on this scale."

Meg: "So, making history, that's what I'm talking about.  And additionally, we are deeply, deeply sorry for the delay - technical problems on our end and all that.  Apparently a mouse was caught eating through some electrical wiring."

Mac: "Is that so?  I heard it was a hideous lizard-woman who bet the gaffers she could carry all their rigging gear with one arm tied behind her back."

Meg: "Mac, you know this is how urban rumors are started.  Would you like to hear the one about the fat, hairy frog-girl who cleaned out the caterers?"

Mac: "Ahem...not particularly.  And what's the theme for tonight?"

Mac: "That's what I thought.  Looking at Candy, I'm pretty sure we're running swimwear tonight."

Meg:  "Looks like she's just come from the pool as well."

Mac: "Well, to be fair, the studio is pretty well suited to it today.  Looks like we've made a few accommodations for the contestants.  You may have noticed it's a little warmer in here."

Meg:  "If you can't bring the pageant to the beach, bring the beach to the pageant - in January no less."

Mac: "That's right, heat lamps overhead, we've turned up the brightness a little - complimentary shades provided."  

Meg: "I do believe they've got some sort of pool or tub set up in the rear as well.  Can you tell us any more about it Gany?"

Gany: "Evening ladies - it's true, there are a few amenities added backstage.  If you don't feel like submerging yourself in the pool, there are more than a few stagehands more than ready to...hose you down."

Meg:  "Sounds like a good time...may head back myself during the commercial break to cool off.  So I'm getting a signal...are we ready to begin?"

Meg: "Hey Everyone!  Welcome to the first night of this year's La De Baucherie Magique Fashion Pageant!"

Mac:  "We're really sorry we couldn't make it to the initial introductions...the best laid plans of mice and men and all that."

Meg:  "Funny story there...we were visiting our friends Hank and Gany.  Right when we were getting ready to head out, Hank got stuck in the doorway...can you believe it?  I believe she's currently undergoing something described as an 'udder reduction procedure.'"
 

Mac: "She's being milked Meg."

Meg:  "Call it what you will....there were gallons of white liquid splashing everywhere!  Coulda sworn I was on board the 'Nostromo'!"

Mac:  "Anyhooooo, mooooving on....looks like things are starting.  I see Candy walking down the red carpet now.  She appears to be wearing a Vietnamese Ao Dai - that can only mean that tonight we're seeing the 'traditional/cultural outfit' competition."

Meg:  "Well duh.  Didn't you read the script?  Why do you think we've got these keen hats?  I'm like 'Reach for the sky pilgrim!'.....and you're like, 'Elementary my dear Megamilipod.' And why we've got Gany decked out in that get-up."

Mac:  "That's right - everybody, take a good look at Gany!  She'll be acting as our roving reporter for the next several nights."

Gany: "Frankly, this is a pretty embarrassing - I've told you both a thousand times - Gany is short for 'Ganymede'."

Meg:  "Don't sweat it, you look gorgeous - doesn't she Mac?"

Gany: "I feel ridiculous.  I can't even see my feet."

Mac: "Calm down - she's right...you're smokin!  And speaking of which, here comes our first contestant."

Fashion Pageant Contestant - Arania

Every now and then, when I see an entry as beautiful as this, I remember that I really need to work on more 'taurs.

Satine Ryder is the 22 year old daughter of a wealthy British household - raised properly - taught etiquette, manners, and how a young woman is expected to act.

Oh....Black Sheep....so much wasted female TF potential.  Force me to use my imagination to fill in the gaps of sequences that should have been included ;p  Good thing Arania was available.

Arania - A Day at the Mall

Hearkening back to some of my first experiences with TF, TG, etc on the internet, I'm happy to bring back an interpretation of Bill Hart's "Spells 'R Us".  (Reference Links: 1, 2 - no guarantees that all links on those pages are still good).

Working with Arania, I think this has turned out to be my longest project to date - and I'd say that it turned out very well overall.  Inks only for the time being, but hopefully I'll get it colored in the future.  About 3/5 of this has already been posted on Arania's site, but what follows below is the complete shebang - all 53(!) images.

A Saturday at the mall turned out a little different than one couple expected when they left the house that morning...but then, everyone has a different experience when they visit Spells 'R Us.

While I'll admit that some (many?) aspects of this piece are probably familiar to folks following my commissions - I sincerely hope I can say that I surprised some of you with the final outcome - shades of Sarah Jessica Parker!

Arania - Speaking of Benchmarks....

As I was saying, even before Arania had completed that last sequence, I was already dropping my classic poodle-girl request on her. And she did NOT disappoint at all!

May as well mention it at this point as well - while I certainly understand some folks' preference that transformations include the full body including the face, I just find it so much more interesting to keep the face predominantly human for expression, etc - with just the smaller animal touches - regardless of how much the body is changed. Just what I like to see.

Arania - A Little Too Much A&M

Not really any story here at all - that's one of the great things about working with Arania. You can just give her a transformation theme and for a base price you get a great sequence. Don't need too many details or anything - although she's very flexible and great to work with when it comes to more complicated ideas too.

So here, two Texas A&M students are transforming into a cow and a chicken respectively...I'll admit it - cowgirls and poodle-girls are essentially my benchmark tfs - nearly everyone I've commissioned from (TFs at least) has wound up doing at least one of them...they're always fun to see...and that there aren't nearly enough of them (really just the poodle-girls there...there's generally a surplus - in a good way - of cow-girls) - it's just one of the ideas I like to knock out first before I start getting into other, more original concepts and designs.

Art Contest #1 - *Updated* 5/3 to clean up formatting.

In the interests of strengthening the community, seeing some really great art, and because I just can’t get enough poodle-girls, I am issuing my first Transformation Repository Art Challenge.

Really, I've been sitting on the idea for a while, but until I actually made up my mind to set up the site, it was in limbo logistically.

The idea is fairly simple. Between now and 12 July (giving an extra week after the long July 4th holiday), any artist who wishes to participate should submit a picture sequence of an attractive woman turning into a poodle-girl.  There's no required scenario involved, it could be anything triggering the transformation - faulty teleporter, magic spell, wardrobe malfunction, let your imagination go nuts.

I say 12 July now, but not knowing my work schedule that far out in advance, things *might* get pushed to the right a little bit....probably not though, and I'll post updates if anything does change.

I fully encourage you to share this challenge with other friends and artists you may know who don’t regularly read this site.  Any artist I have previously commissioned from – even the same subject matter – is welcome to compete, but the submission must be a new piece.

On 12 July, I’ll announce three winners – First prize $150, second prize $100, third prize $50 – cash prize from me to you via paypal.  Additionally, (assuming I figure out how to post a poll by then), there’ll be open voting for two weeks following the initial contest completion on all the submitted sequences and the audience favorite – regardless of whether it already won a prize – will win an additional cash prize of $100.

Admittedly, the price per pic, even for the 1st place winner isn’t outstanding, but hey, it’s easy money right? Show off your stylings to the world and try something a little different – outside your comfort zone or otherwise.

If poodle-girls aren’t really your thing, I still encourage you to give it a shot and try something new.  I have a significant number of additional contest ideas for the future – seasonal ideas, straight-up shrinking/gts themes, etc – but if I can’t get any participation, why should I bother?

Now the hard and fast rules:
1. All work must be the original work of the person submitting it.  No exceptions.

2. Sequences must be at least 4 pictures long – for a [human!] Woman to Poodle-girl TF.  There is no upper limit to the number of pictures and additional consideration will extended for additional effort.

3. Any medium is accepted – pencils, ink, paint, digital art, CGI renders, photomorphs, etc – or any combination of mediums.

4. All submissions include the following information (which will also be posted with the picture): artist name, medium(s), scenario (if applicable), sequence title (optional) – and any other additional information you think is relevant.

5. Subjects must be adults – at least 18 – NO exceptions!

6. Any artist may submit as many sequences as they wish.

7. Unlimited revisions are allowed during the submission period.

8. On a scale of 1-100, the final poodle-girl form in the last picture, should fall approximately between 50 and 100 – where Mr. Andrade’s sample picture is about a 50

and Arania’s sample picture is about a 98 (a little additional room allowed for minor facial changes).

9. No copyrighted characters are permitted (unless they're your own characters). This means no anime, videogame, movie, comic/manga characters, etc.

10. By entering a submission, you are automatically giving permission for me to post it on the site clearly labeled and identified as an art contest entry – and although I would prefer to avoid it, if the artist wishes to remain anonymous, I am amenable to posting their entries in that fashion.  Additionally, these pictures do belong to the artists who create them (ie. You), so I have no issues about them being posted to your sites, galleries or anywhere else...why would I?

11. Submissions should be addressed to me: thrandrall@gmail.com – subject line should contain the artist’s name and that it is intended as a submission for the Art Contest.


Additional Guidance:


a. Upper body nudity is permitted but should not be excessive.  Lower body nudity will be frowned upon. Sexual activity is right out. (This is a great opportunity to try out some new poses or stances).

b. Constructive criticism by others is encouraged in the comments section, but *should* be accompanied by suggestions on how issues might be addressed, improved, etc.

c. Extra consideration will be given for judicious, original and innovative use of fur, clothing, BE or other additional tf styles (ie. WG – within svelte, sexy limits ;p), hair growth, etc.  Backgrounds or scenarios are optional.

I consider myself a fair person – you can check references with any of the other artists I have previously worked with on commissions (see my threads at the Process Boards) – and I will be honest up front.  If the quality or quantity of pictures are not sufficient to meet my standards (again, see the quality of pics in my other commission threads) – I will not choose a winner[s].

I shouldn’t have to explain myself, but if I get one or two entries and they both looked like someone scrawled them with a magic marker during coloring hour, I reserve my right not to shell out any money whatsoever….however, I don’t expect that to be an issue with the caliber of artists I know we have around here.
