Mini-Updates

In reference to my last post - following my participation, I did take the time to go back and download and listen to all the other podcast episodes.  I enjoyed them all a great deal - they brought back a lot of good memories of different sites and interactions over the years - even if I don't know all the folks involved.  It helps that I have already commissioned work from several of the featured artists - with more on the way!

I highly recommend giving them all a listen.  Cheasy has put a LOT of work into their production and has done a great job moderating these for the community.  A nice little series of time capsules and snapshots if you will.  I gave him a few recommendations of other folks who I'd love to hear on his program in the future - we'll see if any of them show up.

Today's update is a set of updates on the Gift Art/Request page.  New art by Gnome-oo, an update to an art contest entry by zdemian and a piece of cluedog art colored by technosasquatch.

immortaltom - Streaming Commission - Updated!

Thanks to the weather - I got the day off work.  It finally gave me a chance to get in on one of immortaltom's streaming commission sessions.  Great stuff as always - a little harder to get a sequential piece, but his one-shots are always amazing - just harder for me to satisfactorily visualize in advance.

For this piece, a local TransRepo Industries franchise was hiring for a position in their employee daycare facility.  Turns out that even though there was only one full-time position, there were several part-time jobs available.  At least the pay's part-time, even if the job takes a full-time commitment.  There's always opportunities for growth though - especially as the economy improves.

Amazeroth - Gift Art

Just posted a fairly lengthy (18 pages) comic by Amazeroth on the gift art page.  This one didn't make it quite in time for Art Contest #7, but it's a great TransRepo Industries themed comic and I'm very grateful for being permitted to share it here too.

New Gift Art!

Wow!  Just got a few beautiful new pieces of gift art from Mr-DNA.  Consider them spiritual sequels to the previously featured "Be Stole My Heart" sequences.

In B&W AND color!  Very classy all around. 

Remember....you too can get yourself some free bonus art just by picking up a few amazingly drawn and hilarious Underburbs comic books.  TPB #3 is shipping this month - which features Bel in a starring role (see second pic).  Check 'em out!

Mr-DNA - Angela's Magic Lesson

Not quite a normal commission, it seemed that these images would fit better in the Gift Art / Request section.

Mr-DNA has an excellent ongoing fan-driven sequence project by the name of "Angela's Magic Lesson."  Naturally, I had to get in on some of that TF action...even if one of the concepts expanded in a different direction.

Mr-DNA - After the Pageant

Well, Mr-DNA is really a great guy to keep the ball rolling.  If you folks haven't already caught it, we've got another little epilogue piece Rosemary's portion of the Fashion Pageant.

Seems some spells are a little more powerful than others ;p  Guest-starring (in a key role) Angela from the Underburbs as well.

Nothing new here today - just a single post to link the full sequence by Synthean featured this past week.  This one will have all the requisite tags left off previously.  Synthean's generous gift art donations are really piling up.  (on a side note, I have been informed that PharmGen's morphic division may not be as defunct as I had suggested earlier - stay tuned).

I hope you all have a great Christmas with your friends and family!  I'm alone at the moment but I've had some good opportunities to visit with friends and family this month as well - just moved to a new location for work - hoping to be in a new apartment by the beginning of the year.

Either way, we'll have some new treats in the form of various *brand new* artworks later this week.

You know, it's kinda funny - I coulda sworn I had the timing perfect to post one picture a day and finish on Christmas Eve - but I guess I still got it wrong - so that means two posts today.  Everyone's a winner!  (since technically it will most definitely be Christmas Day in most parts of the world by the time I post the finale).
