*Update* - Growing Up Gecko - Snareser

As long as I’m posting updates, I’d like to draw your attention to a couple of new character pics Snareser has done for me on the “Growing Up Gecko” page.  Of course one pic is just another gorgeous pic of Mac and Meg – classy as always!  The other pic however, is something that’s taken me far too long to get to – a series of reference character pics for other supporting characters in their universe – who will play a significantly larger part in the eventual story as I piece it together

I’m very happy to present the first images of Dr. Margaret Athena aka “Momma” and the Rt Rev Ignatius Loyola Bismarck – “Father Iggy”.  Their general looks should remain much the same initially, but the ages will change throughout the course of the story.  Not much background to put out at this time – but noting the sign behind them – the story takes place mostly in the vicinity of the planet of New Halicarnassus in the Doric system – specifically around the Halicarnassus Institute of Scientific Development and Learning (HISDL) where Dr. Athena conducts research and teaches.

Please check 'em out and leave some feedback!

Synthean - Separating the Sheep from the Goats - Part 2

I am also very happy to present at this time – the remainder of Synthean’s gorgeous sequence partially posted earlier this month.  A beautifully painted sequence that reminds us that what’s on the surface doesn’t always match what’s underneath – although in a slightly weirder way than normal ;p

All pics below the break!

Engineskye - Payback's a Something (or other)

Now,  Engineskye has been working on another long commission for me (among other things) – and although the entire piece has been completed, I think it would be a terrible waste to post all 15 pictures at one time – I’d rather split them up for greater effect.

So as far as background goes – I think it’s time MistressArianna picked up a few more supporting characters.  Donators may remember her pets acquired last year – but now she’s looking for an assistant to help around La De BaucherieMagique.  Let’s see who or what she decides to come up with…

Art Contest Update

Next, before I forget, we need a brief update on the art contest.  Just as a clarification from my previous post – the species portrayed doesn’t necessarily need to be a “real” one per se - don't rack your brains if you can't match anything up exactly…there are plenty of interesting “fake” species out there.  Just off the top of my head:  The Big-Titted Terrier, the Long-Haired Russian Whorehound, the Strawberry-Blonde Labrador, and the always-popular Bimbo Spaniel for example.

One recent favorite story as more inspiration.

Solios - Perfectly Blended

A veritable slew of updates today in keeping with my current posting schedule.  Some nice treats just in time for the holidays – albeit not necessarily the ones I had in mind at the time of commissioning ;p

First up is a beautiful single pic featuring my chimera-girl Lyssa by Solios – previously featured in a sequence.  This is one of an upcoming series of advertisements that she’ll be appearing in on the site.

Art Contest #5 - Best in Show 2012

Art Contest #5:

A new art contest for the (upcoming) new year.  Been a while since the last one, but I think this sort of thing supports my posting schedule a little better than some other ideas.

The theme here is “Best in Show”.  That is to say, I’d like to see before and after pics of dog-women (at least 2 pics).  I know I’ve enjoyed (and will continue to enjoy) commissioning poodle-girls, but let’s see some other breeds of dog-girl (not saying poodle-girls won’t be accepted).  Try and work some thematic elements either similarities between the woman’s outfit/hairstyle and the breed she becomes or swapping with her pet, or something similar.  Also looking at options for boss switching “positions” with secretary, etc.  Sequences longer than 2 pics are definitely accepted.  The woman should wind up at least 25% dog by the end (ie. ears, paws, tail, fur, etc) – but anything beyond that is acceptable as long as at least the face is mostly human.

You don’t necessarily need 2 characters in the pics if it works thematically, but you don’t normally allow pets outside (out of the yard) by themselves, so let’s keep it “realistic”.

The best design/look will win the blue ribbon for “Best in Show 2012”.

I fully encourage you to share this challenge with other friends and artists you may know who don’t regularly read this site.  Any artist I have previously commissioned from – even the same subject matter – is welcome to compete, but the submission must be a new piece.

All entries must be submitted by midnight 14 February (or thereabouts – subject to change – depending on internet access – I will hopefully have dates tighter before then).  As soon as possible after the deadline, I’ll announce three winners – First prize $100, second prize $75, third prize $50 – cash prize from me to you via paypal.  We’ll have an audience vote after this contest too, but no monetary prize this time.
Now the hard and fast rules (no real changes here):

1. All work must be the original work of the person submitting it.  No exceptions.

2. Sequences must be at least 2 pictures long.  There is no upper limit to the number of pictures and additional consideration will extended for additional effort.

3. Any medium is accepted – pencils, ink, paint, digital art, CGI renders, photomorphs, etc – or any combination of mediums.

4. All submissions include the following information (which will also be posted with the picture): artist name, medium(s), scenario (if applicable), sequence title (optional) – and any other additional information you think is relevant.

5. Subjects must be adults – at least 18 – NO exceptions!

6. Any artist may submit as many sequences as they wish.

7. Unlimited revisions are allowed during the submission period.

8. No copyrighted characters are permitted (unless they're your own characters). This means no anime, videogame, movie, comic/manga characters, etc.

9.  By entering a submission, you are automatically giving permission for me to post it on the site clearly labeled and identified as an art contest entry – and although I would prefer to avoid it, if the artist wishes to remain anonymous, I am amenable to posting their entries in that fashion.

10.  Submissions should be addressed to me: thrandrall[at]gmail.com – subject line should contain the artist’s name and that it is intended as a submission for the Art Contest.  Also, if you have another gallery or site you would like me to link to, please include it as it significantly improves my artist tracking ;p

Additional Guidance:
a. Upper body nudity is permitted but should not be excessive. Lower body nudity should be conservative (no fluids and most definitely NO FUTA).  Sexual activity is right out. (This is a great opportunity to try out some new poses or stances).

b. Constructive criticism by others is encouraged in the comments section, but *should* be accompanied by suggestions on how issues might be addressed, improved, etc.

c.  As always, references to other Transformation Repository characters, locations, etc – are welcome ;p

Have at it!

Synthean - Separating the Sheep from the Goats - Part 1

Just so you guys know I'm not totally down and out.  I do have new projects being worked - unfortunately they don't all coincide with the periods during which I have good access and the ability to update this site.

Check the Pending Commissions section for upcoming projects - definitely more in the works.  I think you'll enjoy them.  And please keep donating too if you appreciate the artwork - I know the artists appreciate the support as well.

Right now, we have the first part of a new commission by master artist Synthean - truly an artist with an eye for the fine details.  This sequence provides a demonstration of a new product line by TransRepo Industries - this pharmaceutical item brings out the true colors of that special someone - are they just pretending to be someone they're not?  Or are they the real deal.  Let's separate the sheep from the goats.

MamaBliss - Test Pilot

Any excuse for an update is great for me right now - particularly given my schedule.  And I couldn't have a better one at this time than this beautiful comic by the extremely prolific and very talented Mamabliss.  She's been extremely gracious through the whole process - not least in letting me post the full sequence here.  You can also view it at Gone All Wild - which I highly recommend checking out!

Always happy for another rendition of Mistress Arianna - and she turned out beautifully here.  I had a blast writing this.  Hope you enjoy how it turned out as much as I do.

Site Hiatus

Well, it had to come to this, although I was hoping to have another post for you before I had to leave.

Work demands again - going out of town for significantly longer than normal this time.  *HOWEVER* I should still have full access to email - if slightly delayed - and periodic opportunities (as they come) to update the site.  I will also be continuing to work with certain artists to get some new projects out over the next few months.

That said, "Out of Town" pricing is in effect for donations until further notice.  Keeping in mind again that the response time may be slightly more delayed during this time too.

Any one project - $3
Any two projects - $5
Any three projects - $7.50
Any four projects - $10
All five projects - $12

And please list specifically which projects you'd like to see - still waiting on responses from a number of previous donors.

Solios - Bet You Can't Eat Just One

Yes....another beautiful collaboration with Solios.  Another great sequence...but broadening horizons here - figuratively and literally ;p  Working on a real chimera here.  See the bottom of the next page for a different styled sequence compared to our normal single pics.

in-FUR-no - Poodle Photomorph Sequence

Trying another project by another artist.  This sequence by in-FUR-no is a little different than most of mine - really do need to commission more photo-manip sequences.

New Gift Art and another Note

Well folks, first up we've got a gorgeous little mini-sequence in Gift Art from master storyteller Mr-DNA.

Before I go any further, I've really got to pimp his print comic The Underburbs.  This little self-published series is truly a great read - excellent storytelling, great humor and then the incredible art of Mr-DNA!  I'd say my best comparison would be Jhonen Vasquez (Invader Zim, JTHM, I Feel Sick, Squee) meets Calvin and Hobbes - really great stuff.  And even better for tf fans is the crazy amount of great material included - written in very smoothly and portrayed in a wide variety of ways.

The TPB is a great way to get a feel for the story - highly recommended!  Even better - if you're really nice, you might even get a free sketch or two ;p

------------

On another note....I'm a little surprised by the number of donations I've received without any request details....well not necessarily, there have always been a few of those - but I am surprised by the lack of follow-up messages/complaints/requests for the art.  I know my spam box is empty...but I wonder how many of my responses to people just disappear.  Please, if you've donated and not received anything, drop me a note as soon as you can.

Thanks again for the support folks.

Zanfadar/Engineskye - Hello, My Name is Princess #7

"I'm lovin' it."  I don't know....some folks might think this starts going over the top, but it just works great for me.  Really love the look.

Zanfadar/Engineskye - Hello, My Name is Princess #5

This was a lot of fun to block out but it's got to be even longer and more intricate next time ;p

Zanfadar/Engineskye - Hello, My Name is Princess #1

Been looking forward to posting this gorgeous project for a while.  Had to get it just right.  Zanfadar did an awesome job with lines here (love the style!) and Engineskye's colors really hit just the right note.

Will aim on posting one page a day - no tags on it till completion, just like previous comics ;p  Gotta keep you guessing...not like it'll be that hard....man, I'm so predictable.

Please leave feedback if you like it!

Come to think of it....a million page views isn't too bad either.  Definitely worth celebrating.

Thanks for the support!  (might have expected a few more comments for all those views though - is google, etc registration really too much to ask for?).

Donation Art Update: Champagne Wishes!

UPDATE: See Below!

I am very excited to present my most recent addition to the Donation Art project - Champagne Wishes by Cluedog.

This beauty features 94(!) amazing pen and ink images telling the tale of a couple of bums and a genie who may have hit the bottle a little too hard.

Cluedog put in an amazing amount of work on this and it really turned out beautifully - big props!

To celebrate this new addition, I've got another offer going:  while this project is still available for a minimum donation of just $5 (no upper limit ;p), any other projects chosen at the same time will be available for $0.50 less each.  That is to say, if you choose one more project with this, it'd be $9.50, two more projects, $13.50, etc.  - donation link at the top of page or on the Donation Art page.

I'd like to emphasize again however, that these projects are special.  The vast majority of my commissions are available in full, for free.  I've spent a lot of money on them.  These few projects in my donation art project are different.  They're generally bigger, longer, and more detailed than most of the rest of the site.  So please, support the project (30% of your donations go directly to the artists) and do not post any of them anywhere else.

Thanks.  Comments are always appreciated too - feel free to post in this thread if you have more questions/comments about the content, etc.

Update:  Please, please, please (!) let me know when submitting your donation, which project(s) you'd like to see.  I can't read minds and it saves a lot of time and emails.  Thanks.
