Andrade: The Camping Trip: Bonus Pics

Now I don't normally have extra pics like this, particularly with this theme - but since the artist is based at the Sticky Site, I figured I'd add a couple pics to the commission that I could also post for fans of that site (got a small gallery there too) - good advertising.

No process here, just a series of different "sticky" shots featuring the transformed characters.

Weekend Update

This kind of post is becoming a regular thing - but not a bad one by any means.

First up, we have a couple of gift art pieces by in-FUR-no.  This artist's style is right up my alley and it's a real privilege to show his art here as well.

Next, just a heads up.  I'll be out of town for work most of this week.  This means Monday's installment of "Showdown at Grave's Dam" will be posted on time, but Thursday's installment probably won't be posted till Friday evening my time.

Similarly, I won't be available to respond to any donations or questions re: donations until the weekend.  So if you've been having any tech issues or are interested in seeing the pieces, either drop me a line this evening or wait till next weekend.  Sorry for the hassles.

Andrade - The Camping Trip: The Conclusion

Well, I think collectively, the commenters on the part one got it right (with the obvious exception of one tf that wasn't hinted at initially).

As I said before, I've been waiting a long time for this sequence and it turned out beautifully.  A little more "furry" than I had originally envisioned, but given the amount of time and effort and detail put into it, I have no real complaints.

Stay tuned later this weekend for some post-sequence bonus pics.

Art Contest #4 - Mistress Arianna (and Customer)

Alright….time for the Fourth Art Contest…scaling things back a bit to see if this works better as far as entries.

This contest only requires a single pic – although more are always appreciated.  The theme is my original character Mistress Arianna la Tartana and her boutique “La De Baucherie Magique”.

You’ve seen her in several different looks and in different settings so far (with more on the way) – so the idea is this.  Simply Mistress Arianna interacting with a customer – with a process theme – is the merchandise acting not as expected, better than expected, something totally out of the blue…etc.  Additionally, while we’ve seen her in two different settings so far, it stands to reason that La De Baucherie Magique has opened a few other branches in different times and places over the years – so let’s see a little variety in shop design and location as well.  I’ll admit I don’t have a real “set-in-stone” look for Mistress Arianna yet (I’ve been exploring flexible looks changing with the setting/scenario), but maybe with some of these contest entries we can come to a better consensus ;p

Any kind of process is accepted here – tg, tf, in-animate, AR, AP, expansions, etc.

I fully encourage you to share this challenge with other friends and artists you may know who don’t regularly read this site.  Any artist I have previously commissioned from – even the same subject matter – is welcome to compete, but the submission must be a new piece.

All entries must be submitted by midnight 15 Mar.  On 16 Mar, I’ll announce three winners – First prize $75, second prize $50, third prize $25 – cash prize from me to you via paypal.  As with the first contest, it’ll be followed by open voting for a week on all the submitted sequences and the audience favorite – regardless of whether it already won a prize – will win an additional cash prize of $25.

Now the hard and fast rules (no real changes here):

1. All work must be the original work of the person submitting it.  No exceptions.

2. There is no upper limit to the number of pictures and additional consideration will extended for additional effort.

3. Any medium is accepted – pencils, ink, paint, digital art, CGI renders, photomorphs, etc – or any combination of mediums.  But some form of process must be shown.  Ordinary pictures with captions will not be accepted.

4. All submissions include the following information (which will also be posted with the picture): artist name, medium(s), scenario (if applicable), pic title (optional, but appreciated) – and any other additional information you think is relevant.

5. Subjects must be adults – at least 18 – NO exceptions!

6. Any artist may submit as many entries as they wish.

7. Unlimited revisions are allowed during the submission period.

8. No copyrighted characters are permitted (unless they're your own characters). This means no anime, videogame, movie, comic/manga characters, etc.

9.  By entering a submission, you are automatically giving permission for me to post it on the site clearly labeled and identified as an art contest entry – and although I would prefer to avoid it, if the artist wishes to remain anonymous, I am amenable to posting their entries in that fashion.

10.  Submissions should be addressed to me: thrandrall[at]gmail.com – subject line should contain the artist’s name and that it is intended as a submission for the Art Contest.  Also, if you have another gallery or site you would like me to link to, please include it as it significantly improves my artist tracking ;p

Additional Guidance:
a. Upper body nudity is permitted but should not be excessive. Lower body nudity should be conservative (no fluids and most definitely NO FUTA).  Sexual activity is right out. (This is a great opportunity to try out some new poses or stances).

b. Constructive criticism by others is encouraged in the comments section, but *should* be accompanied by suggestions on how issues might be addressed, improved, etc.

Have at it!

Andrade - The Camping Trip

Now astute, long-time followers of the site (a relative measurement really, still been less than a year) may have noticed a few of the "Pending Commissions" have been up longer than others.  And none longer than this one.

It took a while, but I received Mr. Andrade's beautiful rendition of "Camping Trip" - and I think it turned out beautifully overall.  An amazing amount of detail and work went into this.

To make things a little more interesting.  I'm just posting the first 6 pics of the sequence tonight - the rest will go up this weekend.  In the meantime, I'm interested in hearing what folks think will happen to the different characters (keeping the labels blank for the moment) given the intro hints and circumstances....Guess away!

Weekend Update!

Not too much for this weekend unfortunately.  A four day week at work, but even busier than normal.  Figures.

We do have two new photomorphs from Nugget in Gift Art.  I can assure you that there are still more projects in the works, some are just taking a while.

In the meantime, for TF fans, I would direct you to Jitensha's excellent new TF comic available at The Process or her own store (definitely adult).  Definitely worth checking out - we don't see nearly enough good material and while the comic is good, the bonus material is more than worth the price of admission!

Powerman2000 - Expiration Dates Are There For a Reason

Another fun, completely bizarre piece by Powerman2000.  I'd had this idea floating around for a while previously, but this just worked out to be the perfect time to get it visualized.

Yeah, the story pretty much explains it all - just as crazy as you might expect.  Dialog in the first (alt) version is mostly by me, the second set of pics is with the dialog that Powerman2000 came up with.  Not too much difference, but I wanted to let folks see both.

For the record the breasts as eggs bit is at least partly inspired by a couple effects shots from Troma's Poultrygeist (not visible in trailer).

Alt. Version

Solios - "You Don't Say....."

This one turned out to be a lot of fun as well...originally envisioned with a few additional characters, I needed a visualization, and Solios needed the work...so....wham!  Bam!  Thank you Ma'am!

Lactose Intolerance indeed (also featuring a cameo from Solios' character Sasha).

Gany: "You wouldn't happen to know anything about this would you?"

Hank: "So you're the ones who found my secret stash...and here I was all ready to mix up another batch. How's it taste to you? Ratemycream.com calls me 'Sweeter than the average Minoan!' Don't worry, any side effects will be temporary on a normal person."

Gany: "You don't say...speaking of which, your friend Sasha here is also part Minoan and I'm not exactly normal...did your website say anything about that?"

Hank: "....."

Sasha: "Om nom nom!"

Weekend Rollup

Well, it's been pretty busy at work this week, but it's finally the weekend - and to top it off, it's the first official full 3 day weekend that I haven't had to work at least part of in....I don't know how long.  Definitely a life-saver, although it's back to the ball-breakers on Tuesday...and this week will really be nuts.

That said, time for some nice artsy updates.  There're a few things coming up with their own posts shortly, but I will note right now that I have decided on a single pic contest theme for next month centering around my Mistress Arianna character.  Full details will be posted around the 30th so keep checking the site.  This one will be just a one month contest, with only a single pic requirement (lower prize money too), we'll see how it works out in comparison.

There's also an update in Gift Art featuring a little woman to Alien sequence by Duke.  Due to an unfortunate accident this piece arrived too late to make the contest deadline, but the artist gave me permission to feature it on the site.  Definitely an interesting take - can't wait to see more from him.

Tomorrow will see page #5 of my collaboration with Mr-DNA - "Showdown at Grave's Dam."  Trust me when I tell you it only gets better from here ;p

Engineskye - First Commission of the Year!

As previously mentioned, TG was the clear winner in my end of the year poll.  Engineskye whipped up a great piece for this project.  Fast, talented, and very responsive!

Interestingly, it wasn't until I actually titled these pics today that I realized how fitting the scenario is for the timing of the commission - I was just looking for a different look in the process - actually a little more "horror"-style in my original imagination, although toned down for the number of pics.

Enjoy!

Art Contest Update!

With only one entry this time, it was pretty clear who would go home with first prize ;p

At the same time however, I see myself looking at my art contest idea in terms of diminishing returns.  I was a little disappointed to only have 3 entries for my first contest (even after extending the deadline) - good though they were....and even more so with only two entries in the 2nd contest.  But a contest with only one entry - stunning though it is - isn't really a contest.  I'll be the first to admit that maybe my timing wasn't the best.  The holiday periods tend to be busier for most folks (with a job like mine, sometimes it's easy to forget that other folks actually go out and do things around this time of year ;p).

That said, it was still a two month contest and only required 3 pictures/frames for an entry.

I was initially going to try starting the next contest today in the same way that I started the previous contests, but I think I'm going to take a break.  While this next one was intended to finish around the beginning of April, it's now looking as though my work schedule won't permit anything like this very conveniently.  So we'll see....maybe I'll start it in Feb and have it run through mid-May or the beginning of June.

I'm definitely interested in more feedback regarding this.  I've heard from lots of folks here and there about how they're interested in entering these contests, but then nothing really materializes.  Sometimes just schedules, sometimes other things I guess.  But I don't see much point in running something like this for so few entries - I may as well just commission the artwork straight up at this point.

So yeah, any feedback is appreciated...any issues with my contest themes - do I need to be more or less specific?  Fewer required pics (less than 3?), etc?  Thanks.

Art Contest Entry - Jacques00

A stunning piece as usual by Jacques00 - and the only entry for Art Contest #3 - it turns out the Elder Gods were a bunch of pervs...among other things.

What a classy piece of work ;p

Showdown at Grave's Dam #1

As I mentioned yesterday, I've been working on a large project with Mr-DNA that was recently completed.  Rather than follow some of my previous practices and blow my load on a nice big piece like this all at once, we've decided to draw it out and make this a little more interesting.

I will be posting a new page of the comic "Showdown At Grave's Dam" every Monday and Thursday until it's complete.  To add to the fun, I won't be posting any special tags on these posts until the series is done - I want to keep you folks guessing till the end.  I think you'll be very pleased.  It was a lot of fun coming up with something like this...hope you all enjoy it as much as we did putting it together.

BTW, while I've got your attention, I should direct it to Mr-DNA's awesome comic "The Underburbs".  Already picked up and read the TPB myself and I highly recommend it.  Very funny, great art, and awesome writing!

Without any further ado.....

Site Updates: Donation Art, etc.

A few more announcements:

1.  The next project has been added to the Donation Art Project.  I'm very happy to feature "The Playground" by Pink-Diapers.  The follow-up to "The Bus Stop".

2.  Voting has ended on my end of the year..."What do you want to see next" poll.  Clearly I need some more TG projects on the site....although hopefully "Stocking Stuffers" by Cluedog will satisfy you folks for a little while.  I've got a great idea for the first new commission of the year - just narrowing down the artist.

3.  Check in tomorrow for the start of a brand new, extended piece by fan-favorite Mr-DNA.  I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by a departure from my normal commission style - and we're going to drag it out a little just for fun ;p

4.  Last but definitely not least - time's running out to submit your entries for Art Contest #3.  And stand by for the announcement of Contest #4.

End of 2010 Roll-up! - Includes Art Contest #3 update!

Wow - this site has been up for less than 9 months and you've given me over 291,000 hits - impressive (actually the site went live 10 April, but I don't think blogspot started counting till sometime in May).  I'm pretty impressed ;p

Lot of big plans for 2011.  Some very lengthy commissions that will be posted as site updates several times a week - essentially mini-webcomics - from some of your favorite artists.  Also more art contests, some of which will be substantially bigger.

Speaking of Art Contests....folks planning on submitting entries for Art Contest #3 should know that my time frame has shifted just a tad...while the deadline is still nominally midnight the 3rd....given my crazy work schedule, I won't have a good opportunity to view in detail or post any last-minute entries on my site until the afternoon of the 5th (Pacific time).  So, essentially, you've got a couple extra days to polish your entries.

Finally, I will be adding a couple new projects to the Donation Art site in the next few days.  I think it's all top notch work - but I'll let you folks be the judge.  Things were a little slower this month, but I think that's to be expected given the season.

Have a great New Year!  I've got to crash early due to work tomorrow :(
