Site Hiatus

Well, it had to come to this, although I was hoping to have another post for you before I had to leave.

Work demands again - going out of town for significantly longer than normal this time.  *HOWEVER* I should still have full access to email - if slightly delayed - and periodic opportunities (as they come) to update the site.  I will also be continuing to work with certain artists to get some new projects out over the next few months.

That said, "Out of Town" pricing is in effect for donations until further notice.  Keeping in mind again that the response time may be slightly more delayed during this time too.

Any one project - $3
Any two projects - $5
Any three projects - $7.50
Any four projects - $10
All five projects - $12

And please list specifically which projects you'd like to see - still waiting on responses from a number of previous donors.

Solios - Bet You Can't Eat Just One

Yes....another beautiful collaboration with Solios.  Another great sequence...but broadening horizons here - figuratively and literally ;p  Working on a real chimera here.  See the bottom of the next page for a different styled sequence compared to our normal single pics.

in-FUR-no - Poodle Photomorph Sequence

Trying another project by another artist.  This sequence by in-FUR-no is a little different than most of mine - really do need to commission more photo-manip sequences.

New Gift Art and another Note

Well folks, first up we've got a gorgeous little mini-sequence in Gift Art from master storyteller Mr-DNA.

Before I go any further, I've really got to pimp his print comic The Underburbs.  This little self-published series is truly a great read - excellent storytelling, great humor and then the incredible art of Mr-DNA!  I'd say my best comparison would be Jhonen Vasquez (Invader Zim, JTHM, I Feel Sick, Squee) meets Calvin and Hobbes - really great stuff.  And even better for tf fans is the crazy amount of great material included - written in very smoothly and portrayed in a wide variety of ways.

The TPB is a great way to get a feel for the story - highly recommended!  Even better - if you're really nice, you might even get a free sketch or two ;p

------------

On another note....I'm a little surprised by the number of donations I've received without any request details....well not necessarily, there have always been a few of those - but I am surprised by the lack of follow-up messages/complaints/requests for the art.  I know my spam box is empty...but I wonder how many of my responses to people just disappear.  Please, if you've donated and not received anything, drop me a note as soon as you can.

Thanks again for the support folks.

Zanfadar/Engineskye - Hello, My Name is Princess #7

"I'm lovin' it."  I don't know....some folks might think this starts going over the top, but it just works great for me.  Really love the look.

Zanfadar/Engineskye - Hello, My Name is Princess #5

This was a lot of fun to block out but it's got to be even longer and more intricate next time ;p

Zanfadar/Engineskye - Hello, My Name is Princess #1

Been looking forward to posting this gorgeous project for a while.  Had to get it just right.  Zanfadar did an awesome job with lines here (love the style!) and Engineskye's colors really hit just the right note.

Will aim on posting one page a day - no tags on it till completion, just like previous comics ;p  Gotta keep you guessing...not like it'll be that hard....man, I'm so predictable.

Please leave feedback if you like it!

Come to think of it....a million page views isn't too bad either.  Definitely worth celebrating.

Thanks for the support!  (might have expected a few more comments for all those views though - is google, etc registration really too much to ask for?).

Donation Art Update: Champagne Wishes!

UPDATE: See Below!

I am very excited to present my most recent addition to the Donation Art project - Champagne Wishes by Cluedog.

This beauty features 94(!) amazing pen and ink images telling the tale of a couple of bums and a genie who may have hit the bottle a little too hard.

Cluedog put in an amazing amount of work on this and it really turned out beautifully - big props!

To celebrate this new addition, I've got another offer going:  while this project is still available for a minimum donation of just $5 (no upper limit ;p), any other projects chosen at the same time will be available for $0.50 less each.  That is to say, if you choose one more project with this, it'd be $9.50, two more projects, $13.50, etc.  - donation link at the top of page or on the Donation Art page.

I'd like to emphasize again however, that these projects are special.  The vast majority of my commissions are available in full, for free.  I've spent a lot of money on them.  These few projects in my donation art project are different.  They're generally bigger, longer, and more detailed than most of the rest of the site.  So please, support the project (30% of your donations go directly to the artists) and do not post any of them anywhere else.

Thanks.  Comments are always appreciated too - feel free to post in this thread if you have more questions/comments about the content, etc.

Update:  Please, please, please (!) let me know when submitting your donation, which project(s) you'd like to see.  I can't read minds and it saves a lot of time and emails.  Thanks.
