Not much more to say other than....commissions haven't been much of a priority, other than when the means and the artists come together really well.  Limited resources and all that - other than a few that have already been sourced and still outstanding.

That said, saturnxart is really getting better with their style/format and this just worked out great IMO.

The legal profession just ain't what it used to be.

Well, it is no exaggeration to say that Common Courtesy has - to date - been far and away the most popular sequence featured through my Donation Project.  It's certainly been encouraging to see fans willing to support and keep supporting the creation of new art by talented artists.

Cluedog and I have another project in the works, although I can't yet give an estimate for it (there will probably be at least one shorter piece featured in between).

As always, I would like to thank folks for their support of the project - it does go a long way towards helping me commission additional artwork and I know that the artists appreciate the additional support as well.

So...at this point, let's just start the posting - a little at a time here - but I'll put the whole thing up for anyone who didn't have a chance to donate for it over the last 4 years.  As always, you can always leave a tip in the donation box if you appreciate it - or give a little to another artist :)

So, aside from "Monster Makeover" I had a few small projects planned, but I waited a little long to get some of them out of the planning stages due to international trips, cross-country drives and job hunting.

That said, we do have a few quickies (older and newer) - not all Halloween, but this is a great time for a catch-up post.

Donation Art Update - "Monster Makeover"

Just in time for Halloween, my major project for the season has been wrapped up by none other than Mr-DNA (that amazing artist of Halloween horror!).  This project truly reaches back to my TF roots over 20 years ago with my fantasies of haunted houses transforming people into variations of the classic Universal monsters.  It was fun finally putting the concepts on the pages and even more fun working with Mr-DNA and seeing what amazing designs he came up with and how he was able to bring the characters to life (exceeding many of my mental visualizations).

I am very happy to present "Monster Makeover" - and while it won't supersede any of the other existing donation projects for the time being, I do hope to have several other Halloween themed pics ready to post in a few days in keeping with the general season.  I have a number of additional projects still outstanding and will keep producing artwork with willing artists to the best of my ability over the upcoming months.

"Monster Makeover" is a 26 page comic available for a small donation of $7.50 - 1/3 of which will go directly back to the artist while the rest will continue to fund new art!  Thanks for the support and have a great holiday!

So, just a fun little set of sequences by new artist Grumpy-TG - not unlike some of the older pieces I did with Oppaiman.

I'll be posting one portion a day for the rest of the week - spread out the quality.  This artist has a very unique style that will take them a long way as they develop it further - as far as these sequences, I fell back a little in my "overly detailed" descriptions/too many reference pics - but I'm happy with the overall results.

Edit - of course I failed to note that this is clearly a La De Baucherie Magique concept - where else would they find trinkets like this.  Clearly I haven't been posting enough lately.
